Playing With Paper Never Gets Old…
I absolutely love my baby sister, Emilee. I am exactly 11 years and one week older than her. For the longest time I thought that I would never have a sister. Brother’s aren’t all that bad…but to have a sister…lovely.
There is such a big gap in our ages that we have never, ever fought. I think I may have gotten a bit frustrated with her once when she was about 3 years old and decided to paint my bedroom dresser with my nail polish. Thinking back, it was totally my fault for leaving my nail polish out in the first place.
Emilee and I are very much alike. I love that.
But I especially love our differences. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful sister.

Then there is this little darling:
My niece, Addie, turned two in February. I was visiting California and the kids and I were able to attend her birthday party!
This little niece of mine is something else, I tell you. Addie has an infectious smile and a wonderfully sweet temperament. Love that girl!
All the paper and embellishments used in these layouts are from the new Pink Paislee, Soiree line. Fabulous! Wonderful! Love it! This lovely paper came in the mail in my Scrappy Gourmet Design Team box. How lucky am I? Very. Lucky.
There’s some Shimmerz, Pink Stiletto in both layouts too.
Both layouts were inspired by:
I found it HERE (on the new and improved Scrap N Art website).

Dan, the kids and I are headed to LAS VEGAS this next week. Super excited! I’m sure there will be loads of photos to share! If my posts get a little spotty…well…more spotty than usual, I guess now you’ll understand why.
Catch you on the flip side!
xoxo, Christie

Your layouts are beautiful as always. Your baby sister looks just like you. I am one of 5 girls and my youngest sister is the closest to me…we are 10 years apart.
Addie is such a cutieeeeeee! And yes, Soiree is awesome 🙂
Dear creative friend, I love the way you play with paper! It makes me cheerful! Unfortunately I don’t have a sister, I have got two brothers. Very nice, but different. My mother once said to me: dear child if I was very sure of my case that the fourth child would be a girl I’ll give you a baby sister immediately, hahaha.
How nice that you and you sis are so close. My sis is only 18 months younger and we used to fight like cats and dogs when small. But like you, I cherish having a sister. It’s a gorgeous pic and so beautifully scrapped
I JUST bought this line! LOVE it and LOVE LOVE LOVE the embellishments. I am totally stealing these pages ideas…
I love the paper work, the pictures, and your stories. It’s really great passing by in your blog. It is very beautiful and interesting.
