A Fabric Project
If you have about…oh…14 or so hours to spare, you may want to make one of these fabric wreaths:
The accent colors in my living room are green and black, which explains the color choice. My Mom is responsible for planting the idea in my brain.
Mom made something similar by pinning fabric into foam balls.
I chose to pin fabric into a foam wreath.
A very EASY task but also a very TIME CONSUMING task.
This wreath was made by cutting small squares (about 2 1/2 inches) with pinking shears. Then, one at a time, folding fabric squares and sticking them into a foam wreath with straight-pins.
Luckily I had a little helper, my daughter, Izabelle. It took Izabelle and I several evenings working together to finish the wreath.
I LOVE the way the wreath turned out…it’s easy to work on while watching a movie or two.
