Baby Elizabeth
My very sweet friend, Linda has been creating a scrapbook about her Mother-in-law, Elizabeth. It has been so fun to watch Linda’s scrapbook come together.
After her Mother-in-law passed, Linda inherited some photos and memorabilia. One of which was a little rocking chair.
Linda gave the little rocking chair to Karen at Paradise Scrapbook Boutique. Karen lovingly hung the rocking chair in a place of honor at PSB, right above her baby papers (perfect).
It’s sweet, right?
Last Saturday night Linda brought in a baby photo of her Mother-in-law. In the photo you can see the little rocking chair behind baby Elizabeth.
Pretty neat!
I had forgotten to bring photos to the Saturday Crop but wanted to create a baby layout. The photo of baby Elizabeth came in really handy.
I created the following layout for Linda and Karen (Paradise Scrapbook Boutique) using the new October Afternoon paper:
If you would like to peek at the album that Linda has created click HERE.
What an awesome idea. I just love the chair hanging up there!! And the layout is REALLY good!
I love all the vintage-y details! Heritage photos are so fun to scrap!
The details are wonderful! Linda was so sweet to give the chair to Karen. It’s perfect above the baby papers.
This turned out beautiful Christie, such a great vintage page!! I love that chair, it looks fabulous hanging in its place of honor!! *STAMPIN HUGS* Alex
Oh my gosh, that layout is so beautiful. And what a sweet story. It’s incredible that the rocker is still in such great shape.
p.s. I love that I have inspired someone to do something. Don’t you just love walking? All that time to just hang with yourself?
What a beautiful vintage lay-out. I love the color red, which is going along with it!!! Nice rocking chair! I would like to have a rocking chair made out of wood of my own one day!
What a sweet story! Her Album is beautiful!! I love your layout also. The colors are gorgeous. You always have a nice touch with embellishments Christie!
