Aunt Dixie’s Garden
Every year, for as long as I can remember, my Aunt Dixie has grown a HUGE garden. Seriously, her garden is enormous! I asked my husband to describe Dixie’s garden and he simply said, “Dixie-normous”.
Exactly.
Dixie is also an amazing cook; no one can cook veggies like her…and veggies fresh from the garden, my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
My cousin, Rebecca, took these photos of Dixie and some fresh picked vegetables from her garden, last year at our Wolfe Family Reunion.
I dream of having a garden as big as Dixie’s, imagine how much money she saves on groceries each year!
If there was a green thumb award, Dixie would win!
xoxo, Christie

Much love Marielle
The colors are so vivacious and as a frequent scrapper of this subject matter, I can’t tell you how much I enjoy your use of this line by G45 and these colors and photos!! Absolutely stunning, I adore it!!! Those stitching details are nothing short of outSTANDing!!!! and that looks like a farm to me!!! lol.
I need Aunt Dixie at my house!! I just found out I have diatetes :-(….. so I need to eat better and that includes lots of veggies!!!!! I love the LO and the stiching 🙂 I adore it!!! I hope you have a great Mothers Day!!!! Hugs! Char
A super-duper great layout. Love how you “whistled Dixie” on this one!
I also need an Aunt Dixie in my life. I would love to have a huge veggie garden…but with the drought that we have had in the past two years it is difficult to keep my garden alive.
Hey, I see you haven’t done a blog post in a while, but I wanted to comment anyways. I think your projects are beautiful and hope you do another post soon. I wanted to subscribe, but I don’t see a link to follow. I just placed an order with Graphic 45 to sell their papers on my website. I know you aren’t on their team anymore but I’d be willing to send you a little package if you wanted to make something and link to my blog/ store 🙂
