Love You
Since my mother passed away last August, I’ve been pretty obsessed with finding every photo that I can of her.
I fell in love with this particular photo. I’m not sure why…maybe it’s because she looks so serious; Mom never took herself too seriously – she was always smiling. There are not very many photos where my mom is not smiling, in fact, this may be the only one.
I wonder what she was thinking…how she was feeling…
I took a chance and got a little experimental on this layout. I played with the new Teresa Collins modeling paste and stencils. I added a little glitter before the modeling paste dried.
To create a  unique and interesting background, I used another Teresa Collins stencil with black paint. I really loved the way the it turned out. What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a wonderful day!
XOXO, Christie
I love your stenciling. You look like your mother…she was also a pretty lady.
Beautiful page Christie! Your mom looks so pretty ! Great use of the molding paste and all the pretty embellies! I missed you at PSB this weekend! We had a great time with Marion Smith! Hugs
Yes, as Char says, we all missed your bright self at the Marion Smith classes. Picked up a few new techniques, like hand stitching a little book binding, used a new tool for making paper flowers, and mixing up spray paint from scratch. Anyhow, love your stenciling and your mom’s pic is lovely.
This is beautiful! That picture of your mom is gorgeous!!
